Decadent Desserts & Funny Faces

For over twenty years I’ve created artwork where animals have been the primary focus. Things took a funny turn in 2017 and to make a long story short, the first Crab Cake was baked! Since the creation of that first piece many others have followed and the flavors have become even more delicious! Combining my love of animals along with a fascination of fancy desserts and bright colors I’ve found my love for what I call Sugar Pop Art.

A Little Surreal

Children’s art and surrealism are two more aspects that play a large role in my work. Combining animals and surreal situations or environments adds a fun twist to wildlife art and is a great jumping off point in stories for kids and kids at heart.

A Little Wild

Bright colors, beautiful wildlife and a contemporary spin on painting. I love beginning with an abstract background full of color and then adding one of my many muses as the focal point. Painting in this way is such a joy and I hope that joy comes through in the finished paintings.
